HANNA graduated in Fine Arts from St. Lawrence College in Brockville with distinction .
She is one of the founding members of the Rideau Lakes Artists' Association in which she continues to be active, taking part in all their shows and participating in workshops given by prominent artists.

Hanna is a very versatile painter. Her paintings range from soft watercolours, bright acrylics, to vivid flowers painted with dyes on silk (a technique she learned in New York and which she teaches fellow artists).

Her paintings are in private collections in Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, United States, Poland and Canada.

Her paintings can be seen in galleries in Perth and Kingston, or by appointment in her studio near Westport,
