After retiring from an enjoyable 30 year career teaching PHE and Science Jill found her passion in art. She joined the Kingston School of Art and took drawing and watercolour classes. She joined the Rideau Lakes Artists Association where she is an enthusiastic participant and member of the executive.

Jill has taken a fabulous array of workshops with many talented artists and more recently has been exploring with acrylics and texture in her work. Choice of subject is inspired by travel and nature while evident throughout Jill’s work is a happy soul and a love of colour. Jill has paintings in private collections in Canada, the USA and Britain and is happy to do commissioned work.
