Riley Garner

Riley is passionate about Portraiture painting.  Capturing the light on the face... the angles, the degree of brightness and softness, then deeply observing the subtleties in expression and hue values are all fascinating. Riley has studied painters from Velasquez, Rembrant,  Vermeer, Van Gogh to John Sargent.  He continues to study painting under master artist Kavin Chan in Ottawa. He studied at the Ottawa School of Art and the Charing Cross School of Art in London, England.  Riley welcomes any portraiture commissions.
